Altair G1 is the ideal digital hub for every hi-fi system. The software and hardware functions are similar to those of the original Altair; it can serve as a pre-amplifier, as a Digital-to-Analog Converter, as a streamer, or as an all-in-one digital music source. This G1 version has an ESS 9038Q2M DAC chip, which makes the sound more detailed and refined than ever before. In order to experience this sound improvement, the analog circuit also had to be improved, with new components and a greatly modified layout. The processor platform from the first generation Tesla processor to the second generation Tesla (G2) processor has also been upgraded to 2GB of system memory. Serial number is Z3BZ7UN5.
